One of my major jobs today was to phone the bank to let them know I’d be using my cards abroad. They’ve taken down our entire itinerary! Either they were being very thorough, or they were just trying to keep me on the phone for as long as possible on an 0845 number – hehe!

Next job, clothes shopping – woohoo! 🙂

Less than 8 weeks to go now, so tonight I’ve started making lists, and many of them there are! I’m already slightly worried at the size of the packing list, given that we’ve got to fit everything in Tom’s little MR2 Mk1 – woops! Think I might need a practice pack at this rate!

Wow – I can’t believe it’s coming round so quickly! Hotels and ferry are all booked now, along with Grand Prix tickets, a tour round CERN and four laps of the Nurburgring. Just the boring stuff, like travel insurance and breakdown recovery, to sort now! Oh, and a small matter of making sure the MR2 is back on the road in in full health…:-D
